Nabil K. "Bill" Sharikas, died peacefully at his Bealeton home on December 3, 2017. Born in Jericho, Jordan on January 21, 1949, he was a son of Naheel and Kiriaco Sharikas. Mr. Sharikas served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1971.
He had a longtime career in the restaurant business, owning the Cardinal Restaurant in Warrenton and the Village Cafe in Bealeton. After selling the cafe, he became a defense contractor, serving as an interpreter in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He was dedicated to his family and was a loving father, brother and grandfather.
Survivors include three sons; Kiriako Sharikas, Christopher Sharikas and George Sharikas; a sister, Mary Rafeedie; a brother, Sami Sharikas and three grandchildren, Vincent, Jacob and Garrett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christo Sharikas.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where services will be held on Friday, December 8 at 11 AM. Rev. Patrick Cardine will officiate.
Interment to follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, VA.
