Billy then graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 1968, and worked as an appliance technician in York, Pennsylvania and then for Fulford’s Appliance Center in Bethesda, MD until he suffered a serious back injury which disabled him for a number of years. He was very proud to have his sons recruited to play football for Virginia Tech. He played an integral part in the organization of the Marshall High School Booster Club in Falls Church, VA.
Being a father and grandfather was the great joy of Bill’s life and he was overjoyed to be reunited with his daughter Robin after forty years of trying to locate her.
