George Roy Trecarten, Jr., age 44, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at his residence in Warrenton, VA. He was born on October 14th, 1973 in New Haven, CT, son of George R. Trecarten, Sr. and Ann Venturo Trecarten currently of North Branford, CT.
In addition to his parents, George is survived by his wife of twelve years, Kim Trecarten; two daughters, Alison & Lorianna Trecarten; a sister, Sherry DelGaudio & her husband, Jeff of North Branford, CT; and two nieces, Mariana & Carissa DelGaudio, also of North Branford, CT.
George is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas & Mary Venturo; and his paternal grandmother, Irma Trecarten.
George was a beloved son, brother, husband, daddy, colleague, and friend. He had many accomplishments in his life: Eagle Scout, high school graduate of Xavier High School, college graduate of Quinnipiac University, & numerous work accolades while working at the Department of State.
The family will accept visitors at a memorial gathering for George on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA. Interment private.
The family will also accept visitors at a memorial service for George on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at 10:30 am at The Parish of St Augustine's, 30 Caputo Rd, North Branford, CT 06471-1027.
