Judith "Judy" Lynn LeGros, of Warrenton, VA, born on June 22, 1958, was a spirited woman who enjoyed laughter with friends and floating in the clear water coves of Smith Mountain Lake. She sipped water from a wine glass and saved years of thoughtful family notes and cards. From a young age, Judy had dreams of a loving marriage, a close family, and a sports car, all of which came true.
Following a courageous battle with breast cancer, she peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2013, while surrounded by her devoted family. She was very much loved by her husband John "Terry" LeGros, parents June Edwards and the late Elwood Edwards, brothers Jeffrey (wife Lee Edwards) and Steven Edwards, daughters and best friends Shannon Leigh (husband Brian Leigh), Stephanie Settle (husband Tommy Settle), Sarah LeGros, stepson Christopher LeGros, and grandchildren Noelle Bee Leigh, Gavin Thomas Settle and Colbie Lynn Settle.
Her life will be celebrated on July 31, 2013 at 2 pm, at Warrenton United Methodist Church. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Perry Pavilion at the Dr. P. Phillips Hospital (Orlando, FL).
