Obituary

Mamie A. Heflin, 90 of Warrenton, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Fauquier Hospital.

Mamie is survived by a daughter, Peggy Atkins (Billy) of Washington VA; three sons, William E. Whorton “Bobby” (Virginia M.) and Ronnie T. Whorton (Karen) both of Rixeyville and Doug Welch of Culpeper, eight grandchildren; Michelle Jenkins, Clarissa Lamb, Tonja Settle, William E. Whorton, Jr. “Billy”, Kristie Nicholas, Gunner Welch, Isabella Welch, Jamie Vance, Robert Whorton “Tater” and Kim Nethers. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Buddy Whorton; a daughter, Nina Nethers and a granddaughter, Angie Whorton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton where a funeral Service will be held Monday March 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. James T. Pittman, II officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Masonic Cemetery, Washington, VA.
