Sharon Jean Lillard Mudge, age 52, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at her home in Remington, Virginia. She was born in Warrenton on February 25th, 1966, daughter of the late Eugene & Frances Lillard.
Sharon saw the beauty in everything and everyone. Her home was always open to friends and family for a meal, or just to share some memories and laughs. She loved her family unconditionally, and they loved her. Sharon had a passion for photography and she took amazing photographs that she shared with those who visited. Sharon’s loving heart, ready smile and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert David Mudge; daughter, Kristen Lillard; four grandchildren, Cody Burke, Jaeden & Brenna Lillard & Daeden Woodward; two stepdaughter, Laura Mudge; three sisters, Shiela Estes, Linda Witmer & Carolyn Lillard; and seven brothers, Robert, Michael, Donnie, Gary, Kenny & Timmy Lillard and Daniel Wright. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her stepson, Jonathan Mudge; brother, Larry Lillard; sister, Molly Lillard; and father figure, Manuel Sanchez (aka, Sexyman).
The family will receive visitors at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm. Interment private.
