Lt. Col. Rex E. Nelsen, USMC Ret. died on January 25, 2010. He was born on Sept. 9, 1950 in San Diego, CA the son of Rex Elmer and Barbara Winters Nelsen. Lt. Col. Nelsen retired from the US Marines with 22 years of service. He had also worked at AT & T and was an Operations Research Analyst for Innovative Management Concepts in Quantico, VA.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne, children Victoria Suzanne Nelsen, Alexandria, VA, Brita Maja Nelsen, Jeffersonton, VA, Rex Edward Nelsen, Jeffersonton, VA and Miriam Elaine Nelsen, Jeffersonton, VA. and two sisters, Barbara Johnson, Coupeville, WA and Celeste Nelsen, Oak Harbor, WA and a grandson, Noah Lee Payne, Jeffersonton, VA.
The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA.
