Merton Ernest Green, 67, of Bealeton, died on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at his home. He was born in Middletown, NY on November 20, 1942, a son of Merton and Ruby Green.
He served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. From 1989 until 2005, he worked for CACI, an electrical military surveillance company in Warrenton. He was a cub master with the Boy Scouts from 1978 until 1989.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clifford Green.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Green, two children; Michael Green of Bealeton and Jennifer G. Suarez and her husband, Heath of Portsmouth, VA. Additional survivors include three grandchildren; Eve, Lila and Claire Suarez, all of Portsmouth.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 10 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11 AM with Rev. Hae Rin Lawson officiating. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
