Gerald Cancio, 63, of Warrenton died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Youngstown, OH on January 20, 1947, a son of Edward and Lois Slagle Cancio.
Gerald was a member of the Warrenton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Kathy and their four children; Angela Cockrell of Gainesville, Michele O'Neill of Centerville, Michael Cancio of Arlington and Colleen Cancio of Washington, D.C., five grandchildren; Erin, Andrew, Claire, Madalen and Mila. Also surviving are four siblings.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Moser Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the Warrenton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Youngstown, Ohio on Monday March 15, 2010 in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan P.O. Box 1715 Culpeper, VA 22701.
