Pat T. Adamo
Pat Thomas Adamo, 84, of Warrenton, died on Saturday, May 08, 2010 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn on May 3, 1926 the son of Nicholas and Antoinette Adamo. Mr. Adamo served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He retired from the federal government at the Food and Drug Administration. A member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, he was also an avid bird watcher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Baisley Adamo in 1999 and by his parents.
Mr. Adamo was a dedicated father of two sons; Nicholas C. Adamo of Warrenton and Thomas J. Adamo and his wife, Peggy Bell Adamo of Germantown, MD. He also leaves two sisters, Marie Murture of Middletown, NY and Anne Stein of Greenville, PA and a beloved granddaughter, Ruth B. Adamo.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, May 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
