Duane Platt Harris of Warrenton, VA passed away on May 15, 2010 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born on April 10, 1962 in Scranton, PA. He attended Warrenton Middle and Fauquier High School. Duane had a great love for animals and music and was a member of the band Vast Minority for several years. He is survived by his parents, James A., Sr. and Arleen Harris, his sister Cynthia Harris, brothers, James Harris, Jr. all of Warrenton and Vincent Harris and wife of Virginia Beach, VA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5-8pm at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church, Warrenton, VA. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Warrenton Vol. Fire and Rescue, 167 W. Shirley Ave., Warrenton, VA 20186.
