Earl T. Foster, 77, of Culpeper died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Rappahannock County on April 3, 1933 to the late Spencer Edward and Sadie Smoot Foster.  His first wife, Ruth Foster, brother George Foster, sister Helen Virginia Foster and stepson Richard Lee Willis preceded him in death.  He worked as a maintenance man with VDOT and retired from there in 1992.

Earl is survived by his wife Mary Haden Foster, seven children; Ronnie Foster of Nokesville, Pat Menefee of Warrenton, Randolph Foster of Tampa, FL, David Foster of Bealeton, Geraldine Makely of Elkwood, Rosie Trinks of Boston and Kirby Foster of Nokesville, five stepchildren; Robert Lynwood Willis of Front Royal, Kent M. Nofsinger, Jr., Katarina Cook, Frank Nofsinger and Ray Nofsinger and wife Starla.
Also surviving are his brothers, William E. Foster of Haymarket and Roger Lee Foster of Rappahannock Co, twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on May 20, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM and then again from 6 to 8 PM at Moser Funeral Home where services will be held on May 21st at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington, VA.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Earl’s name to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation 710 West 168th St. New York, NY 10032.
