Eva M. Prince, 103 of Warrenton, VA died on May 18, 2010 at her home.
She was born on January 5, 1907 in Caroline County, VA a daughter of the late John McCullen Surles and Nora O’Neal Gayle Surles. She was preceded in death by her husband Dudley O. Prince.
Mrs. Prince was a resident of Richmond, VA from 1926-1971 and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and a former employee of Miller & Rhoads Department Store. When she moved to Warrenton she became a member of the Warrenton Baptist Church and its Willing Workers Class.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands- Maxine and Howard F. Simmons of Warrenton and Gloria and C. E. Raye Respress of Yorktown, VA; her granddaughter- Dawn M. Dotson of Richmond and a stepgrandson- Howard F. Simmons, Jr. of Manchester, MD.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. A private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
