Linda Lee Cox, 67, of Remington, died on Friday, May 21, 2010 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was born in Washington, D.C, on May 12, 1943, a daughter of Paul Lemuel Goddard and Thelma Virginia Goddard. Mrs. Cox had been a receptionist at Northwestern Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed crafts, attending craft shows and shopping.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Lee Cox, who died on October 6, 2009.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Edward F. Cox and three sisters and three brothers; Paulette Parker of Colorado, Ronald Goddard of West Virginia, Judy Prock of Texas, Wanda Sayers of West Virginia, Bruce Goddard and Kenny Goddard, both of Texas. Mrs. Cox is also survived by her godchild, Crystal Dodd of Remington and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 24 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 25 at 2 PM. Interment Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
