Michael Allen Winks of Casanova, VA died May 20, 2010 in Rappahannock County, VA. He was born on June 2, 1988 in Howard County, MD. He was a member of Harvester Baptist Church in Columbia, MD and attended Timberlake Baptist Church while studying at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. Michael was a devoted Christian and committed to missions. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Winks. He is survived by his parents David and Laura Winks and his sister, Lucy Winks all of Casanova, VA. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Marie Winks of Forest, VA and maternal grandparents, Edwin and Cindy Hawbaker of Mercersburg, PA, aunts and uncles, Don and Phyllis Palmer, Katie Hawbaker and Morris Shaw and Randy and Diane Winks and cousin Joshua Winks. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 31, 2010 one hour prior to funeral services which will be held at 1pm at the Warrenton Bible Fellowship, 46 Winchester Street, Warrenton, VA 20186. Interment will be at the family cemetery in Amissville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made in Michaels’ name to Warrenton Bible Fellowship or Harvester Baptist Church, 9605 Old Annapolis Road, Columbia, MD 21044-0931.
