Franklin Roosevelt Hamm, 76 of Midland, VA died on May 30, 2010 at the home of his niece in Sumerduck, VA.
He was born on August 2, 1933 at Marshall, VA a son of the late Willie Ernest Hamm and Ethel Marshall Hamm.
He was a farmer working on Tuck Greene’s Farm near Warrenton.
He is survived by his siblings- William Bridgett, Warrenton, VA, Rosie Bushrod, Marshall, VA, Tinker Hamm, Delaplane, VA and Lester Hamm, Front Royal, VA, Hazel Logan, Washington, DC and Carrie Gilchrest, Trenton, NJ; a niece and her husband who were his caregivers- Joyce and Earl Hogue, Sumerduck VA and a host of other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 5 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. Rev. Robert L. Jones will officiate. Interment Warrenton Cemetery.
