James Everette Arnold, 55 of Rixeyville, VA died on June 3, 2010 at the Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City, NC.
He was born January 20, 1955 in Winston-Salem, NC. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
He was employed as the Director of Advanced Systems and Technology with the National Reconnaissance Office. He was a member of the New Beginnings Worship Center in Culpeper.
He is survived by his wife- Bernice Ellen “Bunny” Kennedy Arnold; two daughters- Judith Lee Arnold, Culpeper, VA and Christina Mae Arnold of Virginia Beach, VA; his parents Howard H. Arnold and Elizabeth G. Arnold of Winston-Salem, NC; his sister Mary June Williamson of Greenville, NC. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda A. Moyiarity.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8 at 2:00 PM. Interment at Bright View Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at the Fauquier County Fair Grounds Pavilion.
