Nannie B. McGee
Nannie Belle Ennis McGee, 80, of Midland, died on Friday, June 18, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Stafford County on September 9, 1929 a daughter of Henry Rixey Ennis and Norma Ennis. Mrs. McGee was a longtime member of the Catlett Volunteer Fire and Rescue Auxiliary and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She is survived by six children; Norma McGee Haught of Elkwood, Rixey Carl “Sam” McGee of Catlett, William Rue “Billy” McGee of Catlett, Mable Elizabeth Young of Midland, Rue Edward “Eddie” McGee Jr. of Bealeton and James E. McGee, Sr. of Midland. Additional survivors include ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons; Riley McGee and Edward McGee.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11 AM at Moser Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Peyton Embrey officiating.
Interment Grove Presbyterian Cemetery, Goldvein, VA.
