Kenneth Wayne Anderson, 55, passed away Tuesday afternoon June 22, 2010 at his home in Centreville, VA due to multiple health problems. He was pre-deceased by his parents Frank Ernest and Edith Mae Anderson, and is survived by his only brother Stephen Frank Anderson.
Kenny was born on Sept. 16, 1954 in Fremont, NE., and moved to Warrenton, VA with his family In Jan. 1955. He grew up in Warrenton, and graduated from Fauquier High School in June, 1972. He worked for the phone company which became Verizon for over 30 years, retiring several years ago due to health problems.
He enjoyed photography for many years, and took a number of award winning photos. He also enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a 1934 Ford roadster that he had built from a kit. He made leather products,and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels around his home. He collected stamps and coins. His beloved African Grey parrot ''Batman'' was the main joy in his life.
Friends will be received at Moser Funeral Home on Thursday July 1, 2010 from 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at Moser's on July 2, 2010 at 11am, with graveside services and interment at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
