Roberta Burruss Fletcher, 104, of Warrenton, VA died peacefully on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Oak Springs Comprehensive Care Center in Warrenton, VA.
She was born in Richmond, VA on August 10, 1905 the daughter of Walter J. Burruss and Julia Blanton Burruss. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Fletcher III and her son David Forbes Fletcher.
She is survived by three grandchildren, David Fletcher of Charlotte, NC, Edie Fletcher of Charlotte, NC and Emily Fletcher of Evanston, IL, daughter-in-law Edith Prillaman of Lexington, VA and niece Rhiannon (Shirley) Burruss of Arlington, VA.
Graveside service will be held at Warrenton Cemetery on Saturday, July 10 at 1:00 PM by Rev. Jay Lawson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Warrenton Baptist Church, 123 Main St., Warrenton, VA 20186 or to Hospice of the Rapidan, 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320, Culpeper, VA 22701.
