Walter Sinclair Wines, Jr., 75 of Warrenton, died Friday, July 9, 2010 while under hospice care at Fauquier Hospital. Walter was born in Warrenton on November 8, 1934 to Walter Sinclair Wines and Helen Fletcher Wines. An infant daughter, Sherry L. Wines and Walter’s sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Robert Day, predeceased him.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia A. Wines, his son, Christopher Wines and wife Christie of Bealeton, two grandchildren and their spouses; Amy and Dale Mincks and Ryan and Jennifer Ashley all of Bealeton, four great grandchildren; Brayden Lane Cole, Rohan and Liam Mincks and Spencer Ashley. Also surviving are two nephews, Leslie and Paul Day and one niece, Cindy Linton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday July 12, 2010 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area 11240 Waples Mill Rd.
