“Shep” Shepherd
Winter Calvin Shepherd, 76 of Rappahannock County died on July 10, 2010 in Luray, VA.
He was born on October 27, 1933 in Winchester, VA. He was preceded in death by his mother- Agnes Ott and his son- Calvin E. Shepherd.
“Shep” was honorably discharged from the U. S. Air Force and had retired as a drywall contractor. He attended Amissville Full Gospel Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years- Mae Shepherd; his daughter and her husband- Verna and Gabino Hernandez of Luray, VA;daughter-in-law- Jean Shepherd, Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters- Terri Woodward of Warrenton and Sheila Waddell of Culpeper County, VA; and three grandchildren- Paula Hernandez, Tonya Gemmell and Kailee Lasasso.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 11:00 AM. Pastor James Pittman will officiate. Interment at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
