Olive Heflin White passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2010. She lived most of her life in Bealeton, VA. Olive was the beloved wife of the late George White and a devoted mother of Alton White.
She retired from the Department of the Army after twenty years of federal service with Vint Hill Farms Station. Olive was a member of the Bealeton Baptist Church.
She was born May 8, 1926 in Bristersburg, VA- one of nine children born to Charles and Ellen Heflin.
She is survived by her son Alton White and his wife Ruth of Bealeton; two granddaughters- Donna White of Goldvein and Karen Dodd and husband John of Sumerduck, VA; one sister- Shirley Matthews of Richmond and brother Harry Heflin and wife Doris of Goldvein.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 18 at 2:00 PM at Bealeton Baptist Church with interment at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bealeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bealeton Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 50, Bealeton, VA 22712.
