Robert (Bobby) W. Manuel, 72 of Nokesville, VA passed away at his home on July 25, 2010. Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He spent his life farming in Nokesville and loved his large collection of Allis-Chalmers tractors. Bobby’s humor and his never-ending joke telling will truly be missed by all who new him. He was a lifelong member of Nokesville United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Nokesville Ruritans. He had worked as a construction supervisor. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was born on November 19, 1937 in Washington, DC the son of John R. and Elizabeth Williams Manuel.
He is survived by his wife Margaret A. Manuel, children Sue Seymour, Beth Cornwell, Brion Manuel all of Nokesville, VA, Dawna Mendenhall, Great Falls, MT, Rebecca Muderlak, Nokesville, VA, Stepchildren Larry Vineyard, Orange, VA and Kimberly Gough, Goldvein, VA a sister June Mayhugh, Warrenton, VA, 15 GC and 4 GGC.
The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA where services will be held at 11AM Friday, July 30, 2010. Interment in Valley View Cemetery, Nokesville, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to your favorite charity.
