Randolph Minter Owner

As a funeral director, I provide comfort to family and friends of the deceased, arrange details and handle the logistics of funeral and cremation services. Through personal interviews with the deceased's family, I guide them toward the most meaningful funeral or cremation service.

After these choices are made, I help arrange the clergy members or other person who will officiate the service. With the family's assistance, I establish the service location, date, and time of the visitation and viewing ceremonies, memorial services and cemetery committal services. Depending on the service choice, I will arrange for a hearse to transport the deceased from the funeral home to the final resting pace.

I also prepare obituary notices and place them in desired newspapers, arrange for pallbearers and clergy, and schedule the opening and closing of the grave with the cemetery.

My goal is to carry out all of these responsibilities with discretion and compassion in order to serve the families in my community.

I am a native of Fauquier County and am active in civic organizations within our community including the Warrenton Rotary Club here I am a past President. Having attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, near Orlean, for my whole life, I have served as the organist/choir director since 1976. I was honored to be named the 2007 Business Person of the Year by the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce. Since 1996, I have been a member of the Board of Directors for the Fauquier Bank and the Board of Trustees for The Highland School in Warrenton.

Professionally, I am a past-President of the Association of Independent Funeral Homes of Virginia and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Funeral Director's Association. For over nine years, I was a member of the Virginia State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers and I currently am a member of the Virginia State Cemetery Board.

Teehan "Kir" Kaye Funeral Director

Please call me Kir (it rhymes with “dear”), as nearly everyone does. I am originally from the Daytona Beach and Jacksonville areas of Florida, and I moved to Virginia in June of 2010. My professional background before becoming a director, was as third-generation restaurant and bar management, with an education and formal training in Fine Art. After a significant amount of loss in my own family during a short period of time, I found myself looking up to funeral directors and wanting to join their ranks. I truly wanted to be them. Coming to work at Moser Funeral Home in 2013 and fulfilling my apprenticeship and licensing as a Funeral Director through them are still some of the proudest days of my life. Due to the needs of my own family, I returned to my home state of Florida and various other points up and down the East Coast of the United States in 2017. This series of relocations was particularly difficult for me, as I truly have always felt such a strong dedication to the county residents of Fauquier, Rappahannock and surrounding areas. I returned in the fall of 2024, and I could not be happier with my decision to come back to be a part of such a great team and the Moser legacy.

My drive and purpose as a funeral director, I feel, has always been to emotionally protect and advocate for the families we serve, as I assist them in navigating some of the darkest and most confusing days they may encounter. My strengths lie in my openness in communication, my sunny-side-up nature, my reliability, and the way I strive to make each of my services unique and tailored to the specific needs of my families and their loved one. When I am not directing, spending time with my son is everything to me. His name is Tolkien, and he is unapologetically the center of my world. As for hobbies, I am a painter, sculptor, and both a creative and content writer. I enjoy concerts, museums, dancing, reading, video games, travelling and cooking for my loved ones.

Nicole Holtslag Monument Specialist

My name is Nicole, a true 90s child born and raised in Northern Virginia. I am the mother to a brilliant little girl and the wife to a hard-working, supportive man. I currently reside in Fauquier County, where I am lucky enough to be employed by Moser Funeral Home, one of the longest standing businesses in the surrounding area.

For as long as I can remember, I have found joy and purpose in helping people through the more difficult moments of their lives. When my journey in this industry began in 2018, I entered as a Funeral Director’s Apprentice.

After working many roles in the funeral home, I am happy to have branched out to finally add Monument and Cemetery Sales to my repertoire. I am presently serving as Moser Funeral Home and Bright View Cemetery’s Monument Specialist, designing grave markers and memorials to remember and adequately represent those who have passed with love and character.

Outside of Moser and Bright View, I volunteer my time as a certified Death Doula, providing end-of-life care, clarity and guidance to the terminally ill and their families. I also enjoy music of all genres, reading horror and thriller novels, spending time with my parents and brothers, and keeping an open mind and heart.

If you would like to discuss the purchase of a marker or monument for you or your loved one, please call to set an appointment at 540-347-3431 and ask for Nicole! It will be my pleasure to have your trust with such a sentimental project.
